For Bonaparte, war was a practical art, where theory serves the thoughts in peace time. Sometimes, the knowledge is not enough to respond to contingencies. The theory has difficulties in particularize, the practice must overcome. We must understand the message and apply it to our lives. Although the theory is the base of knowledge, experience gives you the skills and tools to reach goals. Learn and practice, that is the Napoleon’s lesson.
